Growing up in rural Stevensville, Maryland, Frank never envisioned himself living in sunny California. Moving to Columbus, Ohio to further his education, he attended Ohio State University and discovered his immense love of electronics. As an Engineering Physics major, he began building robots, and following graduation decided to relocate to Huntington Beach with a plan “to live in perfect weather for the rest of my days” and work in tech.
It has been over a year since Frank met with Crescent’s VP, Steve Mitchell, but the experience was memorable. “My first experience with Crescent was great!” says Frank. “I talked with Steve over the phone a few times before meeting up in person. He gave me a feel for what the position was looking for and we discussed how well I fit their requirements.” Placing Frank as a Software Controls Engineer for the leading supplier of robotic automation in the Americas was genius. “I started with them shortly after meeting with Steve and I plan on being here for a long time.” “Frank really is a great guy,” adds Steve. “He is doing a great job for us out there.”
Frank is so passionate about his field that one of his favorite hobbies outside of work is tinkering with electronic projects and building things. Aside from this, he makes beautiful music on the guitar, jams out to his favorite band Pink Floyd, and is known to be a bit of a gamer. “For fun I go out with friends to random events like concerts, hiking, theme parks, karaoke, and the occasional Vegas trip.” His easy-going and friendly nature made his transition to California living pretty smooth but even now, as an official Cali boy, he stays true to his roots and reps the Baltimore Ravens. Proving you can indeed take the man out of Maryland, but you cannot take Maryland out of the man.
